I'm an independent director who enjoys making and watching short movies. I grew up in Buffalo, New York, but now I live in Richmond, Virginia. Career-wise, I have a full time job as an art director, plus I run a small video production company on the side. I’m married to the most wonderful woman in the world, and we have a super-fluffy gray cat named Gracie. I’m bald.

Why are you doing this?

I want to share my passion for short form featurettes with the world. I feel that short films have huge untapped potential in the media, and I'm interested in the impact of independent distribution on the entertainment industry. Putting all that together, I created a forum for me and other directors to promote our work.

What is podcasting?

A podcast is a show available for download online. As new shows are released, your 'podcatching' software (like Apple iTunes) will automatically download them for you. My show, The Romeo Theater, is a weekly video podcast (most podcasts are audio shows). You don’t need an iPod to enjoy podcasts. Here's an excellent video tutorial from Apple about podcasting.

How can I watch the show?

The best way to enjoy podcasts is to download the latest edition of the FREE iTunes software (www.itunes.com). Within iTunes, you can ‘subscribe’ to The Romeo Theater and have new shows automatically downloaded to your computer as they become available (they're all free). Once you have iTunes installed, search for 'Romeo Theater' at the iTunes Store, or here’s a direct link to it.

Of course, you can always watch the movies through your web browser on the home page by selecting either Quicktime or Windows Media format. You can also watch select shows at The Romeo Theater YouTube channel.
